Preilu Roman Catholic church

Between 1866. until 1878., according to the project of the architect Visockis, the largest building in Preili was built from gray boulders - the Preili Roman Catholic Church with 1200 places for worshipers. The church has one big tower. There are 3 bells in the tower: "Svētais Pēteris" ( the big bell), "Svētais Francisks" ( middle call) and "Svētā Terēze" ( the little bell) . The church is surrounded by a garden surrounded by a stone wall fence with a tin roof. There is a red brick gate at the entrance to the church. There are two small chapels in both corners of the garden near the entrance.
