Preilu Roman Catholic church

Between 1866. until 1878., according to the project of the architect Visockis, the largest building in Preili was built from gray boulders - the Preili Roman Catholic Church with 1200 places for worshipers. The church has one big tower. There are 3 bells in the tower: "Svētais Pēteris" ( the big bell), "Svētais Francisks" ( middle call) and "Svētā Terēze" ( the little bell) . The church is surrounded by a garden surrounded by a stone wall fence with a tin roof. There is a red brick gate at the entrance to the church. There are two small chapels in both corners of the garden near the entrance.

Every spring, the Dome Church hosts an educational Christian education course, which gives everyone the opportunity to learn more about faith, the values of Christian life, and the Church. During the course, participants participate in face-to-face lectures, attend church services, and go on a one-day field trip seminar.
